Lookout is Jon Eckert's follow up album to his 2020 release, One Stop East. Still occupying a Roots Rock space, the songwriting delves into the personal impact of the pandemic as well as engaging Eckert's experiences through 2020 around grief, love and joy. The album frames up the sentiment of a challenging year with a driving yet warm and breezy sound.

Jon Eckert Toronto, Ontario

Jon Eckert is a Toronto songwriter who has spent recent years trying to find his voice as a solo artist. The bulk of his career has found him in collaborative projects such as Electric Meat, Abraham Man and Surface to Sound to name a few.
Eckert’s solo release, One Stop East, led off 2020 with Solitaire and Lookout following before the years end.
